Find your way to

By public transport: train and bus

Coming from Rotterdam/Dordrecht or Amsterdam/Schiphol Airport/The Hague/Utrecht: get off the train at Delft railway station:

  • From railway station Delft, take bus 69 (in the direction of TU Zuid) and get off at bus stop ‘Aula TU’
  • From railway station Delft, take bus 121 (in the direction of Zoetermeer) and get off at bus stop ‘Aula TU’

Walk back in the direction the bus came from and take the first street on your left (Jaffalaan). The OTB Research Institute is located at number 9.

By car

Coming from The Hague/Amsterdam or from Rotterdam on the A13: take the exit for ‘Delft-Zuid’. At the top of the exit ramp, keep to your right and follow the signs for ‘TU-wijk’. At the bottom of the ramp turn right (Schoemakersstraat), and then take the third street on your left (C. Huygensweg). At the end of this street turn right (Mekelweg) and then take the second street on your left (Jaffalaan). The OTB Research Institute is located at number 9.

Services

 

Parking: At the front of and next to the OTB building (Jaffalaan). There is more parking space (free of charge) nearby the TU Delft Aula and the faculty EWI (please see the TU map for the parkings). Moreover, you can park at the parking level of the Haagse Hogeschool (Rotterdamseweg 137, €1,- per hour, payment only by ‘Chipknip’).

Accessibility

 

Handicapped parking spaces: 2 in total. Located near the main entrance.

 

Elevators: floors accessible by elevator.



Route from the car park to the entrance: uneven pavement surface and curbs.

 

Room to room accessibility: wide corridors with self-closing doors.

 

Main entrance (Jaffalaan): Automatic sliding doors. This entrance closes at 17 hours. Well accessible for wheelchair users

Disabled toilets: one at the ground floor.

 

Entrance at the rear of the building: route via ramp, not accessible for wheelchair users without assistance. Automatic sliding doors that open after ringing the doorbell
