PhD research at OTB

At the OTB Research Institute for the Built Environment a doctoral degree can be taken by doing one’s PhD research within one of the six research programmes of the institute, each of which consists of several research themes. Research within the seven programmes is often multidisciplinary and is being performed by scientists from both the technical and social sciences. PhD students at the institute have various backgrounds such as building engineering, civil engineering, geodesy, social geography, sociology, psychology, and economics.
