Rob Konings is senior researcher at OTB Research Institute of Delft University of Technology. He is an economist with specialization in spatial and transport economics. He has been involved in many different research projects regarding passenger and freight transport.
His main research expertise is freight transport with a focus on intermodal transport and related topics. In recent years he has extended his working field to sustainability issues regarding transport systems, including the analysis and evaluation of innovations in transport systems.
